And have read the book. I have personally met and did work for both John Glenn and Scott Carpenter in Vail Co. They are both very nice people, and believe me both are very sharp when it comes to technology and common sense, right up there with the best.

Same here. I was gonna post a thread, but I've already posted a couple of threads over the years on how AWESOME "The Right Stuff" is 🙂

I think my favorite scene is the big pig pickin' where they juxtapose sp? Yeager's flight in the experimental F-104 Starfighter -- and the Mercury seven astronauts give knowing nods to one another.
