Am I the only one who doesn't think that Zoey is attractive? I mean she's not bad looking, but she's so annoying. She's annoying in every movie I've seen her, and I can't stand her show.

Zooey.

I agree with you Zoey is highly overrated she is not attractive and very annoying. Her show is pure crap.

I was dissapointed with how they added Zaphod's second head. On the neck? Lame. I was thinking of certain parts of the book(s) that wouldn't work without the side head with it's own neck. Like when one head was sleeping under a pillow while the other worked on a crossword puzzle.

The Zaphod thing made the movie REALLY weird.

It goes with what someone said about trying to film what's written being impossible...it's like, I just glanced over the whole 'two-head' thing in the book, and didn't strain myself thinking about it. Then I had to watch that weirdness for two hours.

This. The book is great, the TV show good, the movie meh.
The original radio series was the best, as the concept was originally designed as a radio play. Like other books that come after the movie (or in this case radio series), it lacks the little bit of magic that the original had.

On a side note, if they ever reshoot this movie, how many people think Richard Branson would be the perfect incarnation of Zaphod?

Also a big chunk of the book is narrative which doesnt work well in a movie. Unless someone is always talking in the background and that kinda defeats the purpose of a motion picture.

In fact I think the TV series DID have a lot of narration and it made me not wanna watch it.

"At first, nothing happened. Then after a while, nothing still happened."

I saw the TV series long before I read the books, and I thought that the narration was hilarious.
