I popped in the LOTR dvd into my pc yesterday to watch it and i was really annoyed because the widescreen made it shrink to like half of the screen.
In other words, the borders were way too large, how do i fix that?

Depending on your DVD software, right click on screen or goto options, and switch off "keep aspect ratio"
