Watching a movie because your fav. actor/actress is in it

Have you ever watched a movie that you weren't thinking you'd be intersted in, because it had one of your favorite actors/actresses in it? If so, which movie and actor/actress?

For me, it's Honey. It has Mekhi Phiffer in it and I love him, so I'm watching the movie to see if it's any good. I doubt I'd watch it if he wasn't in it, because it looked kind of cheesy. I'm giving it a chance though. 🙂

Though you'll find many fans here I'm sure, thanks to the ample jerk off material provided by Alba.

I got stuck watching it on DVD with the GF.

On topic I was bored the other night & started watching Flatliners on On Demand. Was kind of surprised to see Kiefer Sutherland in it, so I watched 1/2 of it. Just enough to confirm that he acted exactly the same 15 years ago as he does today.

Yes, he does. I think Kiefer just plays Kiefer in everything he acts in. So do many actors now that I think about it.

I watched two italian films and one french film just because they had Monica Bellucci in it. They were Malena and Remember me, my love. The french one was Irréversible.

Malena was so so, but Ricordati di me, was pretty good. Irréversible left me tormented.
 
made a point to watch the made-for-hbo movie 'something the lord made' because im a fan of mos def. a movie revolving around baby heart surgery during the 1930's with a white doctor befriending a black assistant didnt sound like it'd really be up my alley. but i was pleasantly surprised by both performances turned in by mos and alan rickman. bought the dvd when it came out and still enjoy it from time to time.
 
Even Mekhi couldn't save that movie! He was great as usual in this movie, but the rest of it was crap. I loved the music though. 🙂

Not in years. I used to be that way for Al Pacino, but then he won the Oscar. Now he plays that same character over & over.

I was disappointed with XXX: 2 so much so that XXX was better 🙁

Now I feel dirty.
 
I did that yesterday. I love the show Gilmore Girls and saw on the box at the video store that Lauren Graham was in Pacifier. Not the best.

I do that all the time.
Like for with Honey, i only watched it cause of Jessica Alba 😛
There are so many movies i see i woulda never watched if one of the actresses (or actors) i like weren't in it.
