Fossil "Steel" which is not found in the multifunction section of their website for some reason. This is the closest thing I can find that looks like it, except inverse the colors... silver is where the blue is, and blue is where the silver is. I refuse to pay more than $100 for a watch.

Nice! I always felt bad for Festina in that they invested heavily in pro cycling, only to end up tied to what may have been the most notoriously corrupt team in the history of the sport. I am really not a quartz watch guy, however, and I don't know that they even make any automatic watches.
I'll confess: I kinda bought a Festina because I'm a cycling fan and therefore think they're cool. 😱

hehe....it is a nice watch tho.

Swiss Army. Only the 12 hour clock, with a date. Probably the cheapest one they make.

I have a Movado and a Skagen. Both with plain, featureless faces. (Except the one dot on the Movado)

I'm a sucker for simplicity and clean lines. 🙂

I have two Omega seamaster...

Funny story. My dad bought me one for college graduation, I thought cool watch but nothing more kinda of haevy and bulky so I stick with my G-shock. Then he was comming for a visist and I wanted to wear it for him. Well I could'nt find it. So I went to the jewelers to replace it and saw the price $1750 OMFG!!!! I was happy dada got it for me but sh1tting in my pants because I had to now buy another for sure of he'd kill me for loosing it. Anyway I bought it and made him happy but I found the other in my office drawer about a month later.... So now I have two which I don't waer

A couple things...

Why didn't you return the one you bought?

And wouldn't it be funny if the one your dad bought was a flea market rip-off? 😀

mmmm, no pic, but it's a nice and thin, sleek Kenneth Cole watch, with a polished bezel and carbon fiber face, with markings at 12, 3, 6 and 9. I think someone else on ATOT has it as well.
I like it, it's done it's job for 1.5 years now. 🙂

A) they would not let me gave me this "only for store credit" stuff.

B) Haha funny but I know he buys the best from reputable dealers when in the rare instance he actually decides to part with his money.

Everyday watch - Tissot
Going out watch - 1963 Gold Omega Seamaster

They sure don't make watches like they used to - and that's a fact. Why are you people paying $1000s for electronic Tag/Heuers when they are going to go caput within 20-30 years? If you spend that money, buy a mechanical watch, which will last for generations!

Man I HATE stores that do that. I make it a point to NEVER shop at a store that wont give full refunds within a reasonable amount of time.

Ya but walmart did'nt sell Omega🙂 I dread going to jewelers knowing the super high markup (400-800%), thier lack of retunrablity, and the whole pretensiousness of it all. Luckly I found someone who is happy with a plain band which cost less than $300 for both😛 I don't even wear that most of the time.

Mine

That's the company, but my watch isn't on the actual web site. It's about 2 years old and I think they discontinued it, but you get the idea.

🙂

Edit: I don't have an alarm clock, either. I just wake up when I'm supposed to.

same here

Another vote for the Seiko 5 Automatic---only with a white face. Got it on the cheap, has the look & feel of a well-built watch, fits comfortably when on the job and at school, and looks good when going out, too. I'm happy. 🙂

Everyday: Timex Expedition (same style/colors): comfortable, cheap, reliable, have gone 130ft. under water with it and it worked perfectly. You couldn't hurt this thing with a steam roller.

Formal: Pulsar - Solar Titanium: looks like this, but nicer. (the face is a very dark blue, as is the outer ring, really very nice).

I used to wear a Casio Databank but then I got a Samsung palm phone with an lcd display on top. Seeing as all I have to do is look at my shirt pocket to see the time it's kind of pointless to wear a watch. Also it's far easier to retrieve phone numbers and stuff from the palm than the databank watch.
