Watched 'Face-Off' Last Night

Now THAT is a good movie.

I just wish they showed a little more Gore.

Though I fell asleep towards the end, maybe they do a re-face-off at the end with More Gore ?

Still, the plot is good.

It's not easy to write a GOOD plot that involves 2 characters exchanging faces.

The first face-off, OK, Travolta wants to Save LA, and must find where the bomb is, so he has to look like Nicholas Cage to talk the info out of the Cage character's brother.

Then, Travolta wakes up out of his coma, kidnaps the Special Ops doctor that developed the Face-Off technology, and gets Travolta's face.

Then, Travolta breaks out, and tracks down Cage, which is not easy because he's sleeping with Travolta's wife ... though I think I was asleep for that scene.


So - do they end up re-swapping faces ? If I was the Travolta character, I would insist on getting my old face back.

On the other hand, since the Special Ops doctor is dead and the Face Off lab was blown up by the Cage character, how can they find a doctor who is competent enough to do a double face transplant ?


I really think movies like this should get Oscars.

i was going to add it to Netflix Queue, but if it's that un-realistic ... not sure.

i listened to the ending. so, the Travolta character gets his face back. i had forgotten about the boat scene.

and they even have a happy ending - they adopt a 5 year old boy ... I guess it's Cage's son ?

You liked Face-Off, but you don't think you will like Hard Boiled incase it's unrealistic?! :hmm:
