Because the group behind prop B will simply follow them....

My co-worker has a good argument for it though. If/when these performers get sick, who ends up footing the bill? His guess was taxpayers and I would think in general he's right.

So footing the bill for the porn industry is breaking the back of CA? I would think there are many larger sources of people getting free services that don't even pay taxes in this country.

Pro porn is garbage anyway.

Some of the new pro stuff (aka non vivid) is fucking amazing.

I love it when the camera pans out and I recognize the downtown LA skyline. Sometimes I can tell what building they're shooting in. haha

"The truth of the matter is I'm not sure there will be a lot to enforce if no one is producing in the county of Los Angeles," he said, adding that supervisors would "spend a lot of time and a lot of money on how to figure out how to put something in place that ultimately won't work."

So all these porn stars drive to Las Vegas and shoot their movie over the weekend and return to LA. If/when they get sick wouldn't they still be CA residents and under his theory wouldn't the same CA taxpayers still be footing the bill.

they probably make money the same way facebook makes money

Ads

Maybe they'll put ads in the actual porn.
"I'm here to deliver the Enzyte. Where do you want it?"
"In my ass!"
"The Enzyte or my penis?"
"Your choice 😉"

The man puts the enzyte in her ass then walks away.

These fucking progressive idiots are just that, idiots. So they'll ban kissing and any kind of bodily fluid exchange in porn as well?

What a bunch of fucking morons, and the people that supported them. Every time the people of California vote, I lose a bit more faith in humanity.

so why aren't condoms absolutely mandatory for everyone?

Considering the frequent testing, I'm going to guess that porn stars have a lower rate of disease per sex act than the average population does.

I don't see what the problem is here anyway.

But then I guess the money shot has been more of a turn off for me than anything else, and sex without condoms always had a kind of surreal aura about it, which broke immersion for me.

As long as they don't do it "50 shades of grey"-style, they'll be fine...

I doubt the average person has that many different sexual partners in such a short period of time.

I just read the Wikipedia page on the law and apparently it only requires condoms during sex, so money shots aren't illegal.

Ironically, they had an insider on a radio show I was listening to. Apparently, eye infections is one of the largest issues they see.
