Carwin wins by 1st round TKO.

Ring rust is real + Carwin hits like a sledgehammer and has an iron chin.

He doesn't have an iron chin, he was rocked badly by Gongaza from a less than perfect shot. He has a good chin no doubt, but he hasn't fought anyone with the power of Lesnar. Lesnar broke Herrings Orbital Socket with a single punch. Ring Rust is real, but not for Lesnar, he only has 5 fights. He doesn't even have enough fights yet to be comfortable enough in the ring to have rust. Lesnar should take this, and the bookies in Vegas agree with me.

Gonzaga hit him directly on the chin and torqued his neck, and it didn't even take him off his feet. Then, after about a minute of grappling off the fence after being "rocked badly" he pushed him off and knocked him out in one well-placed shot.

I agree, and if this was a year ago, I would call it for Brock for just that reason. But like I said, ring rust is real and I think that will be what decides it.

That makes absolutely no sense.

True. Although, those same bookies called Lesnar to lose both of his last two fights. Just saying.

Lesnar was -215 where Mir was something like +200 in their 2nd fight, Brock was the favorite. Brock was also Favorited to win over Randy, though not as big a margin as over Mir. Any Bookie who actually had lines for his last 2 fights where he was the underdog lost a shit ton of money.

Yeah, you're right, he was actually favored in the second fight with Mir. I'm positive that Couture was the (slight) favorite for their fight when the lines opened, though it might have moved against him as the fight got close.

it doesn't really matter who wins, the "winner" has to fight cain velasquez who will destroy them both, at the same time if need be.

You know you're a homer when you can somehow spin inexperience into a positive.

Is MMA like baseball for grown ups? I haven't seen people so passionate about their favorite athletes since I was a kid.

At least with kids you can blame it on being young and impressionable, but what about MMA drives grown men to ride their jocks so much?

I think Carwin has a decent chance at winning, but Brock could take him down a bunch and Carwin might not be able to do much with a huge fucking guy on top you. Anyway, I hope Carwin wins.

Hope Petruzelli wins too. I seen an interview a couple days ago and he seemed like a decent dude. It sounded like he was having trouble getting reliable fights so hopefully he does well in the UFC.

problem with the Carwin/brock fight is both hit fucking hard and have good ground skill. i really have no clue who is going to win since it can go either way with 1 punch.

Oh yeah, definitely could go either way. And really I'm not into either a lot so mostly just want a good fight.

Yeah Seth's arm got fucked up! Romero said "nothing hurt, just losing on the cards" but he looked like he got rocked! Tough dude I guess.

So what's going to happen when there are 4 lunchboxes in the ring instead of 2?
