1. My bro with his 10th grade education is clearing $250K as plumber. Granted he knows what he's doing.
2. When I was a kid, my mom's cousin lived in Japan. Their education system decided what direction a child's schooling took based on test scores/abilities.
If I were running an ISD, this is how I would have it set up.
K through 8th
A & B students - 25 students per classroom, 1 teacher per classroom - typically the A & B students don't need as much attention.
C Students - 14 per classroom, 2 teachers per classroom, with individual help, focus on getting the kids to the A & B student level.
D & F students - 6 per classroom, 2 teachers per classroom, focus on getting the kids to at least the C student level.
9th through 12th
A & B students - 30 students per classroom, 1 teacher per classroom
C Students - 20 per classroom, 2 teachers per classroom, focus on getting the kids to the A & B student level.
D & F students sent to trade schools. If they aren't making the grade in trade schools by the 11 grade equivelent, unenroll them from trade school.
