Also, many of you have moderator quotes in your sigs. Now is the time to play "Match the Quote to the Moderator".

I'll start: Elfenix's sig about fava beans and chianti was a quote by me as the mean mod.

See, now you're just playing for the crowd. Next thing you know, you'll be saying you invented the troutsmack. :p

I am one of the keepers of the famous fish slap... don't accept cheap imitations:)

What? I didn't know Monty Python had a female member?

I'll admit it, most of the mods on there I already knew about. I was surprised I didn't see a few names (Rossman & spidey07) on there and one particular name (chunky monster) kind of scared me with how in the world they got to be a mod with so few posts.

Ugh, does this mean we're going to start seeing "so-and-so for Mod!" links in our sigs like we do for Elite "nominations"?

N/M, the thread in Personal Forum Issues answered my question.

Red, he might've "threatened" but he didn't do it, and he easily could have.

Does LoKe know more about the software here than the mods? He'd be a good guy to have on the team then.
We already have Evadman thank you.
You're welcome. :D

Red, are you going to be kinder and gentler now that we know it's you behind the iron curtain?
I'm not saying not to do your job, but it really sucked that you (or any mod) could hide behind their anonymity and ignore questions/concerns.

Or will that continue by just using the AnandtechModerator account?
It depends, will you keep sticking your nose in other people business? You seem to have a bad habit of doing that, like in this thread for instance.

We now have added many more Moderators and will be adding even more, this should help with responding to situations that may pop up regarding a lot of issues that concern this forum or individuals personal accounts.
How am I sticking my nose in other people's business in this thread? I am asking questions and commenting, and getting some answers. See, that's the crap attitude you have, and I think we need to work on that.

Even if you'll never like me personally, and you're missing out by carrying on with that, I would appreciate if you'd treat me and others like you'd like to be treated.

You have a method of working people that involves you bull dosering away at them under the guise of asking questions or airing concerns. When you're given answers you don't like you continue to push on,much like a small dog biting someone's ankles. You asked a question about Loke and were answered multiple times by different mods yet continued to plough forward.

Your method is quite transparent Mosh and is,imho a form of baiting and in some cases out and out trolling.
Nice, I knew how you felt about me too. Let it all out sista. :p

I have STOPPED asking about LoKe, btw.

I'm a good member here. More would disagree with your opinion of me than agree, but you have a right to your opinion. Unfortunately I do not have the freedom to respond to you as you can to me or I would face the possibility of banning.

Cool, glad they are being revealed, pretty much no surprises on the list so far. I knew Evadman had to be a mod too!

Dennifloss was a mod. :p

edit - who owns anandtech m o d e r a t o r .com:confused:

Perma banned member Wallydraigle (formerly known as lirion who is an amazing photographer) owns that domain.

He also owns TFNN.net

What did he do to get perma banned?

He says he doesn't know. Maybe this new era of openness will change that.

I think he was trying to do them a favor, and he could have created A LOT MORE HAVOC than he did.
He's not exactly the only one who's found holes. That said, getting a response out of Fusetalk is akin to the American citizenship process. :p

Err, no, with the American Citizenship process, there is a chance. Slim, but still a chance.

I thought the point of revealing the identities of the moderators was to force some accountability. If that is true, why are certain mods still cloaking their identity?

RossMAN? Mosh?

We are not going to go into Mod actions at this point. Suffice to say that is was brought up and shot down many times before it happened.

So instead of that process, it is more like the Social Security disability proccess? So I've heard anyway, when I was asking about VA disability.

You can respond anyway you'd like, please put away the""Oh I can't speak or I'll get banned " act.

I personally don't think you're a good member, I think a great many iof your posts are calculated efforts to goad and antagonize certain other members,I don't even believe you're really female.

Not to worry though, my personal POV means I avoid modding involves decisions about your posts.

Ok, question. Do the mods here get paid?
And can LoKe be unbanned?

NO.
LoKe would still be a member here if he was more mature about how he handled the exploit. He was to impatient about how quickly it was being handled and we all know things move at a snails pace around here.

Thankyou, but I would STRONGLY disagree in rewarding a hacker in any way shape or form.
