Its a video of insurgents getting what they deserved with a monologue by some wanker who doesn't know what hes talking about.

eh so what.

the video lacks credibility. Credibility=knowledgeability and lack of bias or at least an acknowledgement of both sides of a story, this video has neither.

Looks like a terrible mistake. That's pretty sad, and one of the reasons war is so savage.

This video isn't grounds for approval or disapproval of the war, though.

The narrorator presupposes the trigger man "wants to kill" them... presupposes that they know that these are unarmed Iraqis. That's what's bogus about the video.

It's hard to watch that because it's so sad seeing those (probably) innocent guys getting ripped up.

Wow. Controller says 'do you see them with the weapons in their hands?', Pilots says 'yes'... they clearly had empty hands.

If the vid is real I'm shocked. I wouldn't want these guys hovering over my head for my 'protection' thats for sure.

How should one act when ploughing a field then, in order not to be mistaken for insurgents?

They had weapons, it was no mistake.

I suppose you have access to more information on this? No idea how you could tell otherwise...

How are they innocent? What evidence do you have?

The gunmen have a man going into a field and hastily dropping what appears to be an RPG. I go go into greater analysis but I would argue that they did the correct thing.

As proven in Loose Change, anybody can manipulate video clips and make them say whatever they want.
Clearly the pilots thought they were dealing with insurgents and dealt with the threat. This is a war zone.
The only way to know the truth was to have soldiers on the ground survey the site, talk to the natives and established what really happened. Did they?
In my opinion, the pilots reacted appropriately.
Was the original video clip released by the US army? If so, what did the accompanying press release say?

I don't give much credibility to this alternative internet based analysis.

I love one of the comments on youtube something like "They were working the field....at night....with two trucks....in a war zone....."

There is actual whole footage of the incident where the insurgents are shown planting the bomb...the one used in this video is just an abridged version.
