Wasteland 2 is looking more awesome by the update

i'm hoping wasteland will be:

1) a good engine on which to run mods
2) a decent enough story

n.2 is almost guaranteed, n.1 is still a mystery.

One of the games I'm keeping an eye on. Got to finish divinity original sin first. Big into graphics and this game might disappoint there but hoping gameplay makes up

Lots of potential Wasteland 2 custom portraits saved to this guy's facebook page. Most of these are better than the stock portraits.

The files seem to be saved in facebook as .jpg files. You have to convert these to .png files and save them to the /My Games/Wasteland2/Custom Portraits folder.

Cool, just hope we can customize characters so that the models at least remotely reflect the avatars.

derp, i must have confused 19/9 with .. something.

anyway, its coming out in "nearly 24h" .. from .. NOW!
(if you live in europe. if its past midnight. something something.)

impatiently waiting for it to show up on GOG. 🙂
lawl.

anyway, i'll be buying it retail, since my ISDN would take days to download it.

i really, really hope its an open system and not just a 1-shot... something like the old NWN.

I downloaded it on steam today and played about an hour so far. Looks really good. I'll type more after I've played some more.

I chose the GoG version and am now rather worried since my connection is unstable.
Would the installer simply continue from where it left off if the connection is interrupted ?

Edit:
Within seconds I got a disconnect. Unfortunately the installer could not recognize this and I have to manually press pause then resume.
I just hope the resulting download is not corrupted.

Are you using GOG's downloader? If so it should hash-check any partially downloaded file and pick up where it left off (so no corruption), but yeah it won't automatically re-start a disconnected download.

I'm at a bit of a loss. I can't figure out where to put my code for this game on GoG...

EDIT: n/m got it!

I didn't even notice that he was a one post hit and run. Bah.

Anyway, I didn't notice anything wrong with the mouse speed, but it feels like the mouse pointer is rather large.
