Try taking it to a drycleaners and see if they can bleach it white for you. i know you already said they couldn't remove the stain so you can try this option

The drycleaners wanted $30 bucks (!!!) and couldnt assure it would be completely white. Anyone ever dyed anything black before?

you don't want to bleach it.. that's not going to work. no kind of bleach is going to do what you want to do.

they sell color remover with the dyes at the grocery store.. I've not tried it, so I don't know how well it works. as much as you seem to care about this shirt, you don't really want to use grocery store dyes though.. in my experience the colors are never very pretty or very fade-resistant.

here are good instructions for dying a whole garment a solid color. that's also where I'd go for a good quality dye.

yeah youre fecked, from the second description

its just a shirt though....some people freak out over it like it was a relative that died; really disturbing

just read you paid $100 for it...jesus christ but i couldnt pay $100 for a cotton shirt that looks like a ....$40 shirt. oh well; you can try dying it, but i wouldnt expect much if the color isnt even to start with. and if there was bleach on it; it will keep eating the new dye out anyway unless you use an ....anti-bleach (and im not making that up)
