What does 'precedent' have to do with it, there have been re-votes in the past, with all sorts of different elections, & dare I say it, in the future too.

Florida DOES NOT have the final say. With all matters, the ultimate judge is the FEDERAL Supreme Court. Ultimatly if it gets that far they will shoot down any revote or votes from one canidate going to another.

Also EVERY recount will give different numbers. There will never BE accurate numbers. Heck lets wait till a few months and see how many dead people voted. 17,000 dead people voted in Florida in 98. Numbers will never be accurate, the most accurate numbers will be the first two counts,(the original and the original recount).

. though I stand by what I've said earlier, and really don't want to repeat it, just bear in mind that this is a local state vote, though it does have larger ramifications.
