I wonder: did that happen before or after Bush made his "come get some" remark ?

Moonbeam, where is your compassion for a wounded man?

Real class there using someone who has been injured. Real classy..... Hey....why don't you go dig up some dead Vietnamese and make some classy remarks aimed at JFK or LBJ?

That man is 1000 times the man you will ever be.

Yes, if someone gets hurt or killed we have sympathy but never question why it happened.

How else will the point be made, SB? This war wasn't fought on a computer screen or on television, this war was fought by real people. Those caskets being shipped home are real people. These peoples' families are coping with the loss of their sons, daughters, siblings, spouses and parents, and all they are hearing about right now is that they died for no good reason - for a war fought because of faulty intelligence and political positioning.

This is why Bush is being mentioned - because he convinced these people to go to war. He convinced the American people that Saddam was a clear and present danger to us. If he lied, then he must be held accountable. Justice takes precedence over tact.

That's a big IF.....there is no proof that President Bush lied. You people are jumping on a bandwagon that cannot be proven. Still.....there are better ways to get across and anti-war argument. Posting pictures of a wounded G.I. to prove a political point is tasteless. Funny how the person using it for their argument is also one of the loudest voices protesting President Bush landing on a carrier for what they consider political purposes.

I'm sure he is, but you wouldn't know. You let that happen to him and I did what I could to prevent it. You were among the cowards that supported an illegal preemptive war against an enemy that was no immediate threat because you peed in your pants over 9/11. You voted for the butt-head that started that war lying out of both sides of his mouth to do it, all because of a few psychopaths called neocons that he appointed to key positions had a hard on for a New American Century. You cut off his legs, hero. He had to go where he was told. He has no legs because people like you refuse to see the truth. But you can't help it I know. You would have to feel how bad you feel and that's a no no.

Some people just can't get it through their narrow minds that Iraq could pose a threat even greater than one based solely on it's use of WMD.

As for you moonie, your hatred of the US military has been shown before on this forum. I see you will still use the military and it's members to futher your little agenda. Disgusting.

"preemptive war against an enemy that was no immediate threat "

You know this for sure how?

Oh yes...everything is the fault of the "neocons." Before Bush was elected the world was a happy place full of unicorns and rainbows and there was nothing to worry about.

Peed my pants over 9/11? Hardly. I was mad, mad as hell and wanted something to be done about it. For too long we in this country had turned our head when the subject of terrorism was brought up. Sadly 9/11 woke us up and thankfully there was a person in office with the balls enough to do something about it. Need I remind you of Clinton's 1/2 hearted attempts are offing terrorists? If you want to label a group of people refusing to see the truth the you should start with yourself. You come on here and post what you consider to be deep well thought out philosophies when they are in fact nothing more than ideological tripe. Oh you like to use words to try and make yourself seem superior and above the fray, but you are in fact the worst kind of demagogue in existence. What's that you ask? Let me put it simply....you are nothing more than a self absorbed dullard who thinks he can do no wrong, rambling off platitudes all the while looking down your nose at others. What makes it even worse is the false modesty you portray. You want to play the modest one? Very well, but remember this. moonbeam you are a modest man with much to be modest about.

I think the real shame is that the people apparently the most aghast about pictures are the ones who wanted our soldiers in harm's way to begin with.

Aghast at the photos? Sort of but not really. That's war, people get killed or maimed. Sad fact of war. What I am aghast at is moonbeams use of those photos for political purposes. That should sicken anyone....

Only because you asked...

I have never taken acid so it doesn't make a hell of lot sense to me., His hate is obvious, his hate and distrust of any authority is clear. He doesn't seem to mind spreading unfounded rumours about our military. He appears to be nothing more than a burned out drugged out hippie from that is still lost in the 60s.

The personna of Moonbeam that you swat at is an empty bag... an illusion... you folks have yet to realize this and I suspect never will... why.. because the empty sack pours out our reality... and we hate it ... we swat at it because we can't stand it... but... as in this case there is a reality... a person lost part of his body and we hate this no matter the reason... swat at Moonbeam and swat at ourselves... we are the reflection we see...

Of course they don't get it. They would have to see their agency. Don?t hold your breath. You will be able to see what they think of themselves by watching what they think of me. They are the monster they think is me. Poor dears. You couldn't have been any other way. But every new minute in a new chance to see.

Where have all the flowers gone?

Bright and full of warmth... Earth's creatures seem to need the warmth of the Son directly ... But, I suspect a Super Nova would hardly get the attention of some.

Yes, they only wake up long after the super nova is gone. Even light takes time to travel.
