for some reason, my LG front load washing machine is vibrating very loudly and heavily. It shakes so intense that we can hear and feel it in other room.

It used to be very quiet and smooth as advertised, but it decided to do it right after our 1 year warranty expires.

Anybody know how to fix the vibration? any ideas what it could be? suggestions or tips? I'll call LG on monday, but if I can get this fixed soon and without cost, that would be great.

This has been for multiple loads then? Or just one so far?

Kind of hard to do that on a front loader ;)

I had a Maytag front loader that would shake if it had too many jeans or similar heavy clothing in it, but there is not much you can do about it, considering the load will be tossed about and you cannot really adjust it per se...

Call and ask for an extended warranty.

I have a similar problem with my top loading Inglis brand washer. I've found a plastic ring around the top that's coming off in small pieces, often with shredded bits of plastic that I find in my clothes. =/ It must have something to do with stabilizing/cushioning the drum during the spin cycle. Anyway, I find that loading the washer to 80% eliminates most of the rocking, vs. loading it all the way.

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS BUT ONCE!!!

1. Advertise washing machine that vibrates very loudlyand heavily. Craigslist, local beauty salons, or whatnot.
2. Book 30 min. "sessions" to use the machine. Perhaps talk to Citrix on how to setup a home business.
3. Setup hidden vidcam to record vid for all of us here at ATOT.
3. ????
4. Profit!
