You are supposed to leave the door ajar a little on front loaders. Never had a problem with mold. If you close it every time you will though.
I say get some front loaders and stack em.
Just wait for a sale. They have $2000 sets for like $1200 all the time. I just got a pair of Samsungs for that price. They are really nice. Got em at Sears.

Im still trying to decide on a He top loader or a front loader(dont mind leaving the door open) The problem i am having is
Front loaders don't seem to use enough water to clean
Top HE loaders don't look like they turn/ rotate the cloths enough
I have been watching youtube video so thats all i have to go by. For all you recommending top load HE washers do you think they do a really good job at cleaning? What about whites if they go in dingy do they come out thoroughly clean? Also some reviews say because of the balancing it take a very long time for a load to finish. and sometime clothes come out tangled.
Why would you say this? Just because one might not have anyone else to clean for doesn't mean they shouldn't have nice things. You're in the Samsung Onyx range but, there's no reason to spend that kind of money unless you have 6 kids and a daycare center. Buy used. You'll save a ton of money and get better service than buying high end appliances new.
