WASD or arrow keys?

ESDF. It seems that the number of ESDF'ers grow more numerous every year as people realise how blindingly obviously useful having an extra set of keys to bind is.

I use a setup that seems to be unique to me. Everybody says WTF? when I tell them my config.
Right mouse button - Forward
Thumb mouse button - Backward
A - Strafe Left
S - Strafe Right

That way I have a lot more keys within reach of my left hand that I can bind to and I use em all. 😉
q, w, e, r, t, d, f, g, z, x, c, v, space

The WTF changes to OMG when they see me use it. 😛

I used to use the arrow keys, but ever since I tried WASD, there is no turning back. Much more comfortable.

I use the arrows because my Keyboard has arrows on the left side. Using the arrows on the left is much easier than WASD because there are no other keys in the way to accidently hit.

I play CS with the arrows...my friends all make fun of me. It's an unreal default controls habit, I think.

I've converted at least one..he didn't like it at first, but he really got to like it. It seems much more logical than WASD..

Blah I'd still use WASD over that....so many other keys that are easy to use. 🙂

I use *ESDF*

E = foward
D = backwards
S = left
F = right

I can't stand WASD. I keep my fingers on the hope key and I get access to QW also. Apart from that all the same.

When I play CS (once in a full moon I'll use arrows though) I use the arrows though.
