Was your Monday morning worse than mine?

I slept in because I was feeling like Mr Hanky without the ability to sing cool songs. Shower, get my stuff together for my two classes I was planning on going to. My car barely unlocks, then I go to start it and nothing. I've been letting it charge for the past 20-30 mins now with one of those Vector battery chargers I got from Woot a while back. I think I paid $15 for it and I'm really glad I did now. I just hope I make it to my last class of the day to catch our guest speaker.

Not as bad as yours by any means, but I can relate. It's absolutely Monday today. I only hope my mom's birthday doesn't suck too much for her.

Monday Update:

Didn't hear from the gf, so I went to the gym on my lunch hour

While on the treadmill, gf calls and says wants to meet

Old geezer next to me says "take it elsewhere" (referring to the 15 second phone call from my gf)

Verbal confrontation with afore-mentioned old geezer with subject saying "whacha gonna do aboud id?"

Leave gym in gym clothes (in midtown Manhattan) to meet gf

gf wants to break up

gf cries

gf doesn't want to break up

Go back to gym to change into work clothes with no shower

15 mins late getting back to work

I woke up, late, to the smell of dog shit permeating my house. My wife walks into the sunroom and we see one of our Mastiffs crapped all over their kennel: on the floor tiles, their blankets, it's everywhere. I put them outside and we start cleaning it, meaning I clean most of it because my wife has to be at work earlier than I do. I go to check on the dogs mid-cleanup and they've torn down the temporary fence keeping them from getting to the part of the yard I just worked all weekend to get re-seeded. After screaming at the both of them and bringing them inside and repairing the fence and watering the grass seed, I come inside, get ready for work, and when I go to check on the dogs before leaving, the stupid dog has crapped again. She apparently has some sort of temporary digestive problem from eating stupid stuff in the back yard. Out they go again and I get to clean shit for another 15 minutes. In all I'm over an hour late for work.

Things got better once I got here at least. Sometimes I wish we didn't have pets.

Woke up and realized that I never finished the hot water heater problem I had last night. So, no water since I shut off the main. Would have been smarter to save some water for teeth brushing, etc. I brushed my teeth with iced tea and no shower. Plus I'll probably be pulling a 24 hour shift with my job. And the hot water heater still is not fixed.

My Monday is running into my Tuesday. I am part way through and all nighter, doing homework catch up because I have been working 40hr weeks since school started and taking 15 credits. I slept and took care of stuff around the house this weekend and I am paying for it tonight. The only bad thing is I have been up since 8am Monday morning. I will be up till 10:30pm Tuesday night when I get off of work. So we are looking at a little over 36 hours of no sleep while attending lecture and working...heres to hoping I make it.

My monday morning was a Sunday morning (Sun-Thur). And it took me until noon to realize it was a holiday. Why? I am the only person at work this week. Sucks.
