On PC: Tribes 1 Shifter mod, but that was a team game so one-on-one doesn't really count

Arcade: "San Francisco Rush the Rock" -- always the fastest times :)

Console: don't play console games

What was your best for the last track? Rush 2049 is what I'm referring to

I never played much 2049. IMO, it's a totally different game then "Rush" or "Rush the Rock"

Ah, I never played the previosu stuff. 2049's last track is insane. You have to crash every 2 seconds to get the best time

hmm ... Years ago, when My brother and Teamed up in Half Life TFC we would always be in first and second place on every server.
Also I was really good (though there was one person who would often beat me) at the NIQ mod of Quake 2 (No Item Quake) when it first came out.

Between all my friends, Counter-Strike. No one was able to constistantly be a better player than I was. Every once and a while, one of my friends might have a higher score, but thats because I was on the losing team, while he was on the stacked teams with AWPs.

I've never been defeated 1v1 in Halo between my friends. Some very close matches though.

I pretty much rocked everyone in SegaGT, Dead Or Alive3, Fuzion Frenzy, and probally some more multiplayer games I can't think of ATM.

I always was #1 in the original UT at LANs.
edit, also was the same with Warcraft III and Frozen Throne until about 2 weeks ago when I was experimenting with a new stradegy and one of my friends beat me on b.net.

Tekken 4. Like a lot of people that have posted here, I've rendered their copies of that game useless, since they don't touch the damn things now. :D

Rise Of The Triads and Duke Nukem 3D. We used to play it every evening at the university with a group of people, and the only time I didn't get the highest score in ROTT was when I played with single pistol only, and a team member got to 21 first, while I was at 20.

When using dual pistol or machine pistol, eventhough the others could use any weapon they wanted, I'd always win. If I used all weapons available the scores often turned out 21/3/1/0/0/0/-3/-5. (And this was most often without teams, they quickly gave up on 'everyone against me' as that would just mean they couldn't fire at just anyone, and I could)

Quake we didn't play for long before most people left, and then I did only mediocre at first because I wasn't used to playing with a mouse. One guy let me play single player mode Quake with mouse at his house, saw how quickly I got used to a mouse, and said 'That's another game we can forget about!'. All other friends he let play it had died at a certain point where suddenly a lot of monsters come rushing at you, and I mowed through them without getting hit.

Then after not playing for ages I started playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein online, and noted that on the Internet I'm only a bit above average, but most of the time can't tag along the top people.

Munchkin by Steve Jackson Games. For some weird reason, I never lose even though the strategy and rules are pretty simple.

I used to be able to beat all my friends at Quake III, but then they all got good and my "skills" atrophied.

SNES: Sensible Soccer, with Milan I was unstoppable. Even won a tournament between friends, friends of friends etc (basically 100+ people) and scooped up £100 :D

N64: ISS64 & ISS98, mainly because I spent so damn much time on those games.
