What was so bad about palpatine taking absolute power? It strengthened and unified the Republic and expanded trade.

First we read LOTR, and now we're tying it in with Star Wars...archetypes, etc. Cool teacher.

i was thinking that very same thing...

i thought... wouldnt it be really smart of a history teacher to use that to get kids interested in the theory of war? Or an English teacher, to get kids interested in reading?
