I've got personal experience with one of PETA's regional gurus. Talk about a battle of wits with an unarmed person. When a group has to mask their agenda with sensationalist crap to the point that their own members don't even know what their agenda is, I think the group has probably lost credibility, even to themselves.

BTW, PETA's other official stance is that none of us should keep pets. That includes your dog. It should be set free and sorted out.

PETA also doesn't believe in seeing eye dogs and the like. Nor in making insulin from animals and saving the lives of millions of humans a year. One of the PETA execs has diabetes and during the Penn & Teller ep, she responded by saying that she's not a hypocrite for taking insulin shots because she's helping more people by being in PETA than hurting animals taking insulin.

I just can't believe that 'organization'.

OMFG i just saw the video under the JLO picture where the skin animals alive. that makes me want to join PETA, find those people, and then kill them with my bare hands. THEY SKINNED AN ANIMAL ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?!

tears are in my eyes. i dont care if you guys think they exaggerate some of this...they cant possibly be making some of it up. it is just too painful looking. you should have seen those poor animals that were being skinned and had their entire hide pulled off like it was a t-shirt, then looked around all bloody and pitiful. not to mention they killed them by hitting them on the head with sticks and stepping on their necks several times. OMFG i cant even see straight i am so pissed off :|

i am used to it, and i realize that. you dont have to make stupid comments that even a 2 year old would understand. dont tell me it is ok to skin something alive. you are just a f*cking idiot if you stand by that statement, and there is no other way to look at that. NOTHING deserves to be skinned alive.

edit: ok im calm. seriously though...nothing deserves to be treated like that...they could at least kill it quickly first, then skin it.
