Taliban militants have extended their grip in northwestern Pakistan, pushing out from a valley where the government has agreed to impose Islamic law and patrolling villages as close as 60 miles from the capital. Critics, including in Washington, have warned that the valley could become an officially sanctioned base for allies of al-Qaida ? and that it may be just the first domino in nuclear-armed Pakistan to fall to the Taliban. :shocked:

While I think a healthy skepticism is wise consider this:

Out of the country of Greater Arabia Shall be born a strong master of Mohammed,
He will enter Europe wearing a blue turban.
He will be the terror of mankind.
Never more horror.


 
I've seen people link the same quatrain with Saddam Hussein, and we know how that turned out...

I'm not saying the situation isn't scary, but it's easy to read too much into Nostradamus's ambiguous predictions.

I see you have a healthy skepticism. Good for you. :thumbsup:

But you cant deny the events in Pakistan do not bode well. I hope we can nip that in the bud, but I doubt Obama will have much interest in invading Pakistan if necessary.
 
Nostradamus wrote all of these vague predictions. You can find a way to make all of his predictions true.
