Was Mary Poppins a Jedi?

Mary Poppins is on TV right now, and she is using her powers to make inanimate objects move all over the place. I don't really want to watch this movie, but does it ever explain what her source of power is? Is she a wizard of some kind? It's very Jedi like. I wouldn't be suprised of George Lucas based some Jedi force powers on this chick.
