Was Kill Bill Vol. 1 any good?

It's only $15 at DDD and I was thinking about ordering it tomorrow but I haven't seen it yet. I've heard a lot of people like it and a lot of people don't(mostly because of violence I've heard). The only other QT film I've seen is Reservoir Dogs which I thought was pretty good, is it more violent than RD? Basically I'm asking if its worth buying for $15

I didn't find it boring, necessarily. I just found some of the things stupid, like all the excessive blood. Then everybody said, "But, but, he's paying homage to film x and y and z and..." Okay, fine, but maybe he should've made his own movie...I don't know, this was one of the things that kind of made me not like it, though.

That little cartoon in there was SOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOD. If anything just watch it for that. So scary and dreamy.

It basically just comes down to whether or not you like QT's movies in general, as it's stylistically very "him". A lot of it also is liking the movie for how it was made (influences, special guests, storyline tie-ins), just as important as the plot and actors are.

If you couldn't tell, I liked the movie and I like QT in general.
