Was just at Circuit City, I might go back and get this tv tomorrow

Circuit city sucks like a french hooker. I have had 10 incidents of exceedingly horrible customer service in the past 2 months. It's almost as if they go out of their way to piss off customers. Cool tv though.

Nothing wrong with circuit city - I worked there as a warehouse guy for two years, not a bad place. Customers got on our nerves every once in a while, but we handled their merch well and stayed polite. Just say no to the service plans and you'd be fine. There isn't a problem with the returns, either, we were pretty good to our customers.

Grand opening of the store. And I figured if this tore up 500 bucks for the plan would pay off, these things can't be cheap to work on.

Well i currently own a 46" Toshiba DLP and while i LOVE it, in hindsight i would have picked up a Plasma... Granted i got an amazing deal, so im happy 🙂

My complaints? Black's look grey if the room has any trace of light in it, you can hear the colorwheel/fan from a few feet away, and my first lamp blew after only 400 hours... The picture is phenominal, but if i were to do it again, i would go plasma.

Also, as for 1080p, maybe its just me, but ive seen it in person and didnt see a HUGE difference from 720p/1080i. Not enough to make me regret my purchase.

And yes, if you end up getting a DLP - for the love of god - get the warranty.... Unlimited bulb replacements will pay for itself after your 2nd bulb.

if you want it right away, go to your local B&M. if you can wait then order it online at one of the mentioned dealers. Me, for a large purchase such as a tv, I would purchase it locally. if something goes wrong with it I can bring it right back instead of waiting for it to get repaired.

With the OneCall warranty they'll come right to your house. No need to go anywhere. 😉
