Was Jesus for real?

What's your thoughts on this Jesus? I reason there are three possibilities:

1. He never existed.
2. He existed, but he was not divine (he was a normal man).
3. He existed, and he was divine.

I personally thinking it's probably #2. 2000 years ago, there was no reliable mass communication, and all news spread by word of mouth. That's how exaggerations and legends start (e.g. King Arthur and his magical sword, Paul Bunyan, etc.)

I can't say for sure, since I wasn't there.
Anyone who says different is presenting their opinion as fact.

bleh. Chocolate CAKE FTW!

Double layer yellow cake with chocolate icing.

Going into cakes now are we? I would say Key Lime Cheesecake.

Actually Key Lime Pie is really good, too. I change my vote to Key Lime Pie.

any history over a thousand years old must be taken with a grain of salt. there probably was a such a man but he definately did not feed a thousand people with 2 fish or walk on water or any other such nonsense.

I wonder what the efficiency is on a magical power like that. Would he have to convert, say, A Klondike Bar factory into 1 bar, or could he make millions of Klondike bars out of a single rock or something?

Historically proven is totally different from scientifically proven. Ecumenically, by the same logic ShockwaveVT can not say for sure George Washington really existed or something that was pulled down through the ages as legend and things forged or people mistaken. ;)
