was it regout or ragout?

i googled how to fix blue screen and found out on yahoo page many say regout or ragout program to fix it. dont remember exact name. then i had to go somewhere and shut down pc..... forgot to bookmark.

.......now try to look for the program name and no luck. can someone help?


pretend we got the name... now i want to ask can this program be used in safe mode?

regedit? And if you have to ask what this program is, I wouldn't recommend that you use it. Risk corrupting Windows even more.

also, have you tried running whocrashed to see what might be causing your issue?

i got it its reginout. anybody used this before? can it be run on safe mode?

Personally I do not trust any of the registry fixers / optimizers and to be honest that one looks suspiciously like a couple of fake av / windows optimizers that I have come across

Why not start a new thread with as much detail about the problem as possible and see if you can get some tips on fixing it yourself, if you use a registry fixer and it balls it up you are looking at a full reinstall and will most likely still have the original BSOD issue
