emmm campus police ARE real police bro, you know the kind that carry guns, handcuffs and night sticks, wear a badge and can put you in jail, yeah those kind. They aren't renta cops. BTW OP yeah you def did the right thing, why didn't they go to a field or court to play? My school has outdoor courts that are lit all night, and indoor courts till 1 am, throwing balls around cars is a bad idea mmk?

why didn't you just call your mom to run 'em off with a rolling pin?

Maybe because I don't live with my mom, loser.

and you wonder why people stuffed you in the lockers in HS. just cuz you get older, doesn't mean you aren't a tattle tale PUSSY, kid.

Campus police are sworn police officers on many campuses, including all Big-10 schools. They have powers of arrest, carry firearms, and perform all the same functions as the city police department. Our department even has 2 K-9 units and two motorcycle patrols.

Some people spend a lot of time and money on their cars, we certainly don't want dings (yes, basketball can leave dings) on our cars. If I saw people playing basketball next to my car I'd doubt I'd have enough patience to call the police - I'd probably do/say somethign on the spot. Although, there were 7 of them so the smart thing to do would be to call the police.

You did the right thing. I despise people that don't respect others property and they weren't if they were intentionally or accidentally hitting cars.

I'm not sure whether or not you did the right thing from the information you gave...

You said they were playing 'basketball/tenis/football'.. Well, if they were playing tennis and there was a tennis court, that means you parked on the court or they weren't on a court. If they were on a court, they're in the right. (obvious) If they were just smacking a ball around, then you were in the right.

When I was growing up in my parents' neighborhood, there used to be a basketball hoop in the middle of the parking lot. The parking lot was never full and there were always places to park away from under the basketball hoop. Yet, assholes used to park right under the hoop or within 2-3 spaces of it. Well, us kids just played basketball anyway... It was just really annoying when a ball would go through the hoop and land on the middle of a car hood.

It was a packed parking lot, not a court of any sort . btw the guy's taurus was beat up to sh!t so he prolly doesn't value other people's property either.

Details are a little sketchy, but initially I'd say probably could have gone either way? But then, you break out the DISGUISE to go check on your car? ROFL?I'm not kidding that's one of the funniest things I've heard all week. If you don't go to school in Baghdad, I'd say you're wound a little too tight. Ask them to move. If they don't, then call the cops.

Not that simple, I park in that lot everyday! What if they vandalized my car? I've called people idiots and retards in parking lots, but that lot is home base so to speak.

good idea ^ Play it cool when your car stays in the same spot all the time. I would have just cried though if I were you, the police can't remedy anything that emotionally damaging!

Ever done anything illegal in your life? Would you want someone to tell on you? Don't be a tattle-tale for such a petty crime. If you see them fvck your car up, then it's a different story.
