Well up till now the seller kept in good contact but after i paid (on wed) the seller hasnt replied. He has all good feedback(9 total). He said he would ship as soon as he recieved payment but i also asked him to reply when he recieved payment and shipped. He has done neither so i am not sure what i should do. I dont want to report him or give him negative feedback and then have the package show up a few days later. How much longer should i wait (if he doesnt reply) before i consider myself burned?

Well, sellers have 30 days to ship your package, so I'd be concerned after 30 days.

it's a little too soon to be worried about this. USPS sucks at delivering anything quickly.

How did you pay the seller? It may take a while for him to get the payment if you mail your payment.

Send him another email and wait for a couple days. In the meantime, stay coolheaded.

If his previous auctions' pages are still available, compare their closing prices against your winning bid. If your bid by far (4 times or more) than his highes bid, that could be regarded as bad.

If you pay with credit card via paypal, you are pretty safe.

Be patient.

Get his contact information and call him at home. It is too early to be worried.

Paid on Wednesday and you expected the package already? I'm glad you aren't my customer. Make sure your email is reliable. I can't tell you how many times people use unreliable servers yet they wonder why the email isn't coming in.

He said he would ship as soon as he recieved payment but i also asked him to reply when he recieved payment and shipped.

Which the seller didn't necessarily agree to, maybe he will send the extra notification... or not.

He has done neither so i am not sure what i should do.

Try to be patient, wait.

You sent a payment (via mail?) on Wednesday, allow reasonable time for it to arrive to its destination, worst case let's say early this week. Now allow time for your package to be sent and make its journey to you. Late this week, or early next week perhaps? I wouldn't start to feel burned until no package beyond 8/26 or 8/27, I think that's reasonable & deserving of a reply questioning the delay.

If you use a quicker payment system (e.g., PayPal) and request expedited shipping you will find the wait is shortened quite a bit, especially if you find a seller that always ships promptly.

I am not worried that the package hasnt arrive yet. It is just that before i sent the payment when ever i sent him an email he would reply with a day but since i have sent him payment (through paypal) he hasnt replied to either of my emails and it has been almost a week.

Oh o.k., I can see how you'd be concerned then. If he hasn't replied at all by Monday then I'd go ahead and get some contact information, see if you can reach him by phone. Since you used PayPal, package should arrive this week.
