Was anyone here scared by F.E.A.R.?

Thinking of getting the game. I was wondering if any of you guys were scared by it. I played through the demo and the hallway sorta freaked me out a bit, I didn't jump or scream I was just like OMGWTFBBQ!!!.

I just played the demo too and it wasn't scary like yelling or anything but it made me jump a couple times when something totally unexpected happened suddenly.

It was a little scary at first but then you get use to it because theres always a warning before you see the little girl. In the end the game got tedious with the repetitive environments

Not scared by it, but it had its eerie moments that I enjoyed

Sounds like I'll buy it then. The hallway scene with all the blood was so eerie and even though it was sorta scary, I liked it.

It definitely had its moments, but nothing that makes you start gasping for air heart attack scary.

FYI: The climbing down the ladder part in the demo was the best moment of the game.

Lol when you're running it at all high details, at night, in a dark room, with 16xAF and 8xAA, and you're sleepy, it's scary.

Overall decent game. It was fun, and sometimes, a little creepy.

It was a little too dark; there was one part where I took half an hour to get out of a section of a map because I literally couldn't see anything. The closest to being scared was when the little girl was getting someone in an elevator, and I was saying (not yelling) "No, no. TURN AROUND. Doh! Too late."

There were the creepy moments and the moments that surprised you thats pretty much it. Ive never really been scared jumping and yelling and stuff though. I hated the game. I didnt think it looked that nice and the game overall for me wasnt enjoyable.

I was scared by how much it made my old video card stutter, even on lowest detail.

A few times I was quite startled, which lead to quite a bit of time being kinda wondering if something was around the next corner. I quite enjoyed the game.

It was a bit freaky to start with, but then it got very samey and the repeated girl sequences lost any effect, it was just "can I have something a bit new please?"
