Makes me sick. This whole thread makes me sick.

Our preists, our stock market, our auditors, now the government. Morals, ethics, politics are at a historic low in this country. Lie, Admit to nothing, deny everything, and counter-accuse seems to be the order of the day.

Caligula all over again but much more dangerous with deadlier weapons than a roman legion.

Wow perfect analogy. Sure if a group tried to take over the white house they would be put down and killed. But I don't think there would be systematic murder, rape, and abuse of their families and people of the same religion. And I don't think that group would be bulldozed into a big hole in the middle of the desert. You can't just view life through a simplistic lense.

I don't remember the US gov't going easy on the Confederacy after the Civil War, or as the people in the south call it "The War of Northern Aggression". Remember the Radical Reconstruction? Shermans march? The gov't punished the people of the south for breaking away, killed them, burned their homes and destroyed their way of life. Lincoln and Johnson are in the same class as Saddam when it comes to putting down revolts.

Lets not forget what Sherman & Company did to the native populations either.
