Warriors got ripped off!

damn...yes they did...

AND the west is so stacked 1-5 they kick ass...another easy finals for them...hoping the Magic and T-Mac can pick the slack up on the East!

i dont think the magic have a chance.... even in the big easy east 😛 however... if mourning returns to all star form and the nets miraculously ship martin to portland for wallace... i think the nets have a really good shot at the title.

w00t!!! Went to the same high school as Antawn (for one year)...he's a funny guy! His parents live in my neighborhood. Then I went to college with him and he kept gettin' better and better. Lot of people said it was a tossup over who would do better in the NBA--Jamison or teammate Vince Carter. Vince had the star potential early going to a big city like Toronto, at the expense of Jamison who was sent to Golden State in a draft-day trade. I think being on the Warriors squad kinda cursed him for a bit...though everyone agrees he's still a great player who hasn't hit his full potential yet.

The game on...what was it...February 5th, 1998? I believe I was there...that's the only Carolina-Dook game I've ever had lower level tickets for (and the only one where Carolina spanked Dook!) I still have my 'Fsck Dook' gameday t-shirt from that one!

IIRC...that 'dunked' ball flew 50 feet up after bouncing back off the rim!!!

gary st jean is a moron. typical of the warriors to trade their best talent. And isn't fortson a good rebounder?

On another note tho I think mike dunleavy is going to have a breakout year. I saw some of his summer league games and he's added some solid bulk and was definitely impressive.

the warriors would save more money closing down.

how many good players have they traded away now?

yay. finally got rid of the crap for the warriors. =\. Gotta get rid of the wasted money on talent. I think it's a great move for the Warriors. They're gonna suck this year before the trade, so why not suck and free up money at the same time.

True that, they can now sign key free agents in a season or two which will help. This team really needs to rebuild and they should of done this earlier and signed Arenas. Remember when Dallas was a crappy team and look at them now.

the problem for Jamison on the Mavs will be PT.

He will play what?? SF? SG? Definitely not PF as Nowitzki has got that position sewed up.

Finley and Jamison will have a lot of work to do to try and get their games to work together.

Obviously Jamison will play small forward, he does not have a power forward's body and I don't think he would make a good SG either, as he plays his best inside the 3 point line. This absolutely helps the Mavericks offensively and defensively. Fortson is a great rebounder and he likes to bang in the paint. I cannot believe we got two very good players in return for Van Exel (good but streaky). I would have taken Jamison straight up form him! The addition of Fortson gives us another banger to go with Najera, and we also should have better permiter defense with the addition of Howard to go along with Bell (whom I hope we resign). The lineup of Nash, Finley, Jamison, Nowitzki, and La Frentz is going to give defensive coaches nightmares, and we have solid defensive players off the bench now. Also I hear Jamison is a better defensive player than a lot of people give him credit for, at least his coaches say so. We will see.
