Why is this guy changing his tune all of a sudden?
I don't see a change, but perhaps a clarification. I'm assuming you're referring to his oft quoted position of 'tax me more'. If so, where does the responsibility lie to tax the rich more? Certainly not on the rich, that responsibility falls on the .gov. What he's implying may be as simple as that.

Or, he's simply stating fact. That there is not a finite amount of wealth. That's a fact progressives are unable to grasp.

Yeh, the infinite pie/ open frontier theory of economics, one of the many justifications for greed & hoarding. Take all you want because there's more than enough for everybody

The potential for future growth in no way justifies existing distribution, particularly in a capitalistic system where it takes money to make money. It just means that future growth increasingly benefits capital holders because they're the people invested in it. That's precisely the situation today.

I love how progressives have been so quick to turn on Buffett (and Gates) after this, it's entertaining as hell. :D

If seeing thinking people not in 100% agreement on everything is entertaining to you, you must be easily amused. Contrary to the GOP, Democrats don't take things like trickle down as sacred, and are free to debate these issues.

Well, let's go with his logic and compare Buffet and Gates with the Koch brothers and their ilk.

Like I mentioned earlier in so many words, it's not so much how rich one is, it's what they do with their seemingly infinite wealth that separates the folks with integrity with those who think that having integrity and morals is a birth defect. ;)

By that measure, also, the Koch brothers compare to Gates and Buffet. :colbert:

Paradigm shift in US wealth inequality and money hoarding....

01. Repeal Dodd/Frank and replace it with proven legislation in the Glass Steagall Act.
02. Repeal NAFTA, GATT, CAFTA and TPP.
03. Pull the US out of the WTO
04. Prosecute all players in LIBOR fixing and subsequent insider banking scandals.
05. Prosecute Wall St. precipitants of the 2008 financial collapse
06. Break up a media monopoly where 90% ownership is allowed to six corporations
07. Institute term limits for Congress
08. Confront China on trade relations, including removing 'Most Favored Nation' MFN/PNTR trade status.
09. Make the actions at K-Street completely transparent and open investigations on this private/public sector revolving door.
10. Put an end to fascistic Presidential Executive Orders and Memoranda. Only Congress can enact legislation. Repeal any unconstitutional orders starting with the most troublesome.
11. Wake up the American People from the false dichotomy of a corrupt two-party system.

I'd personally say you hit many nails on the head right there, but short of outright revolt you know many of those won't happen and probably doesn't even factor in the SCOTUS to a degree, along the line of having #10 in there for checks and balances.

Of course those all slow getting anything accomplished down to a crawl.

Don't worry, it'll trickle down any time now :)

Trickle down works for the ones that instituted it of course, because they built damns to avoid it trickling down.

That has been evident for decades now, but lots of people ignore the fact.

He hasn't, they simply weren't asking the right questions.

I think you may be right. He may just see the beat down of the American middle class as inevitable in our new "Global Market Economy" & the need for the welfare state greater because of it.

He's offering a reach around. Nothing else about the deal is optional.

OK, wise guy, please explain exactly what you meant to say by your broken English (in the first post of this thread). Go on. Do it.

I do not need to explain myself to a proven liar like you.

Speaking of broken English, you can't even express yourself in a simple sentence.

Shut up troll. People don't blame the system not the players and you know it.

You were saying something about a troll? As I said before, beat it. Oh, and this is just for you. :D

It's just as entertaining to watch righties drop to their knees drooling because Buffett says something that doesn't contradict their talking points.

"Proven liar" for exposing your nonsensical OP?

I made a typo, but it pretty obvious what I meant. I corrected it anyway.

YOU, on the other hand, still won't explain: "The Oracle of Omaha has spoken, stop blaming the riches for the wrong(s) with the poors." It's broken English, but the quotes and context seem to imply that you claim that people are blaming rich people for the problem of the poor. If that's not what you meant to say, then just say what you meant to say. Don't be a little bitch and claim that others misunderstood you when they understood you just fine.

Where did I said others misunderstood me as you claimed? You are LYING and putting YOUR own words into my mouth again. This is WHY I do NOT wish to engage in a healthy debate/discussion with you. How about this? You. Are. Not. Wanted.

What part of "beat it" from my previous post that you do not understand?

Once again, "BITCH PLEASE"!!! How about this? GTFO!!! Goodness, somebody is just so clueless.

Don't even pretend like you weren't playing the "u duzn't kno what in my mind" bullshit and pretending like you were misunderstood.

Grow up. Stop running away from your own words. Nobody likes the "I was misunderstood" bullshit by politicians, who then refuse to say what the "really meant to say."

You're acting like a cowardly politician.

"GTFO" of where? This is a public forum and I am not off topic. At all. In fact, I am very much on-topic, as I am taking you to task for that sentence in your OP. Moron.

This is WHY I do not wish to have a honest debate with you because you ARE A LIAR because you said:

YOU, on the other hand, are trying to make it seems like poor people hate rich people; that it's some sort of jealousy thing.

and

Don't be a little bitch and claim that others misunderstood you when they understood you just fine.

Quote my exact words for what you claimed and I will reply in kind. If you can't, then "beat it". Very simple to understand.
