(This is the most non-gross way I can ask)

I had a discussion the other day with my friend about methods of cleaning oneself after one has finished doing a number 2. Don't asked how this came up, we talk about the most rediculous stuff 🙂. Anyway, he explained to me that he cleaned himself in the sitting position, where as I do so in the standing position. I personally can't fathom sitting, I just can't figure out the physics of it...

So I decided to make a poll, to see which one of us is weird and maybe to see some trends. I will be reporting my results in various scientific journals so please be honest.

haha, this is a sick thread, but hey it's off-topic anyway! standing all the way...sitting is...um.m..kinda weird...what if your hand touches the water? ew...
 
How can you wipe while standing? Are your cheeks "closed" then? How do you access the soiled areas when the doors are closed?

No you just grab the side of you butt and spread the cheeks.

I don't know how you can do it sitting, how do you fit your hand between you and the back of the toilet?
 
ha-ha, sitting all the way. And no, your hand doesn't touch the water. I have never though one could do it standing, when you butt-cheeks "close" ahem, before you "spread them apart" (your words, not mine) does this not make more of a mess.

I can't believe I am particpating in such a discussion...!

In order to sit 'n wipe, you must also lean. I could never fathom the stand 'n wipe method. Not only would it be awkward with my horrible sense of balance, but it seems like it would make more of a mess.

Sitting simply requires the tilting onto one cheek. Now we need another poll to see which cheek is preferred to take this extra pressure 😀 (although saying that, it's probably got summat to do with left/right-handedness)
 
hah, standing straight up? i seriously hope you mean slightly crouching or else your buttcheecks are in the way of a thourough cleaning😛 unless your wierd and have an external anus😛 who wipes with a wet tissue /tower after the initial wipe, then wipes dry again? seeems the only reasonable way to get reasonbly clean without those european butt washers😛 otherwise your using a dry tissue to smear around your poor .. which isn't all that efficient.
