They need to refit those things, and make them a bit bigger, with chainsaws on all sides. That would be much more interesting.

The good news: They won't steal your child.

It'd be cool if they could use this kind of tech on rovers on another planet.
Oh crap, one got stuck in a sand dune? No problem, the swarm converges on the stranded one and drags it out. Then they all combine into a Zord to fight Rita Repulsa. Just trust me on that.
