Excellent game. The graphics at 1600x1200@32bit are excellent on my Radeon 8500. With Smoothvision, the game looked frightening. I wonder if Truform works in this game? Hrm.. 🙂

I'm very pleased with the game. I read the GameSpot Review and followed a friends advice to use the cheats that enable dismembering strikes and to get the double-bladed light saber and level 3 force powers earlier in the game. It made a huge difference for me. I bought this game to use the lightsaber and force powers (and the occasional sniper cannon).

Finished it Sat night. It was fun, but those pain in the ass puzzles last all the way to the very end. I didn't like how you always need your weapons, even after you have most of your Force powers pretty strong.

I like the puzzles. The puzzle problem solving gives my wrist a break and it's a nice change of pace from blasting or slicing everything.

This game gets better exponentially as u progress through it. First few levels are mediocer run of the mill FPS. Even after u get the light saber its only so so. But once u get Saber Defense level 2 (which makes u almost invulnerable to weapon fire), its a blast. After i got that i exclusively used just the light saber. The only times i have used anything else is when a special situation deveopls (liek taking on Machines i use that emp canon sort of thing, or once in a while i need to snipe).

Warning potential strategy spoiler............my fav. tactic for at-st and other mechs is to use trip mines in proximity mode. You need enough space in between you (normally just Runaway! and drop as you run). Works dandy. Sabre throw is also fun if you can take some damage.
