dont tell me that you thought cannon was a semiconductor? They are not that big. Besides printers and cameras that use 3d party parts, they dont make much, which makes me question on who makes their optics.

Just a quick update. I sent my Nikon 5700 in for this repair, and they had it back within 2 weeks. While they had it, in addition to replacing the CCD, they cleaned the entire camera, adjusted everything to factory specs, and in general, did a great job.
