Man... that is conflicting and fucked up.

On related topic:
Isn't there a movie with a similar topic? A killer founds a victim's child, decides to raise him/her. Child grows up and he finds the truth and is mind blown.

That could be the case.

I would not be surprised if it happened in real life as well.

Cat kills baboon, takes baby and leaves it out in the cold to die.

I don't think we agree on what "cute" means.

makes you realize that a mother's love is nothing more than a biological software and isn't noble at all.

all those sad people complaining about [the latest serial killer perv] probably can't control themselves, they really are being driven by primitive impulses.
🙄 yeah. Our reaction to the murder of children or adults can be dismissed just as easily/stupidly, Mr. Thinks He Has A Point But Doesn't.

It is nature, a carnivorous predator against an omnivore (meaning an occasional carnivore). What did you expect. Perhaps if the leopard had given birth prior to such an event, she would have taken care of the baby baboon a little better. Maybe even try to nourish it. But probably if the leopard "kittens" would have been around, the young baboon would not have made it.

Might i add that a full grown male baboon is an animal that all wild cats are very cautious about :

Those teeth are on average 2 to 3 inch long(for a male) and although the bite force may not be that spectacular, those teeth will do a lot of damage in soft tissue.

On par, any leopard or lion will win. But if they get bitten at the wrong spot, they may no longer be able to hunt. Leopards look cuddly but are deadly. Baboons look scary and are deadly.

I don't think anyone ever underestimated baboons. They always looked batshit scary to me if it were flip out. Those teeth would shred flesh and crush skulls easily.
