Warning: Disturbing! There's a trial going on right now for a drunk guy took his truck and drove the wrong way on the Meadowbrook Parkway on Long Island, and hit a stretch limo head-on.

The limo driver and a young child were killed. The limo had a front-view camera with audio. Newsday (LI newspaper) has posted the video on its website. It's a cautionary tale for all.

That's fvcked up, but the video itself, while disturbing, isn't that graphic...

Personally, i think the driver of the truck should be put away for 20 plus years, at a minimum.

No, he should be killed, but slowly.

Also, I think anyone with a DUI shouldn't be allowed to drive a car over 2,000 lbs, as a safety measure to everyone else.

I've almost hit a drunk driver who was on the wrong side of the road before. I was driving home after bowling with some friends at about 2am or something late like that. There was a hard median so it wasn't like the drunkard coule even just move over to his side. I was in the middle lane and I saw some headlights in the distance. I figured it was just someone being really lazy about making a left hand turn into the 24 hour Arby's. Nope, headlights kept getting closer and closer, so I slowed way down and put on my highbeams and laid down my horn. The guy finally figured it out and got out of my way, and I think he might have crossed through one of the left hand turn openings to the proper side of the road.

The video wasn't that terribly disturbing to me. However I'm curious as to how the passengers of the limo faired. Drunks almost always end up surviving any accident they get into, because the booze makes them basically a rag doll in the event of a sudden stop, which actually prevents most things from getting broken/seriously fvcked up.

A young girl in the limo --the flower child from a wedding just attended-- was decapitated. The limo driver was killed. Man in limo seriously injured. Woman in limo injured.
