No, he should be killed, but slowly.

Also, I think anyone with a DUI shouldn't be allowed to drive a car over 2,000 lbs, as a safety measure to everyone else.

Motor scooters. They should have to ride motor scooters for a year.

Holy crap 12.2G's on the forward sensor then it shows an error. I wonder what the actual force was?

That's horrible though. :(

i think it sounds like tires too.

i think it's a reach to call that whimpering.
also, you would think the driver would have yelled out. you could see the car coming for a bit before impact.

i've been hit and i had time to yell, "oh sh!t!"

Why do people in DUI threads always say stuff like "drunk drivers should be treated the same as serial killers", I mean, irresponsibility caused a death, or more than one, but it's still not murder, which is killing with intent to kill.

it's a little more severe than irresponsible to drive dui.

more like craven indifference, or willful disregard.

I wish the "taxi" drivers at St Thomas had them. If they did you would see a LOT of action stuff on the web. Crazy drivers they are.

The laws are clearly stated and I don't see anyone in front of the Supreme court arguing otherwise right now.

Fact is the penalty was clearly stated, and while manslaughter, the man willinfully put himself in a position where such a thing was incredibly liekly to occure.

end game.

nuke that bitch.

....my day doesn't seem so bad anymore after watchign this

Is there a link to a news article or something?

I can't see him getting anything worse than DUI + involuntary manslaughter.

What? Only jail time? What about that argument on how it was an accident? B.S.

Drunk drivers willingly put themselves in their drunken state and decided lets go for a joy ride on the wrong side of the road.
The death penalty should be considered in this case as two were slain including a young child.

That is why, when you're driving late at night, you always stay in the right lane. Idiot drunks take the wrong ramp and drive the wrong way for miles before they figure out what they've done but they usually stay on the right side as if they were on a two lane road.

That asshat needs jail. STAT.

This video shows the last seconds before a pickup truck traveling the wrong way on the Meadowbrook Parkway smashed into a limousine returning from a wedding. Both the images and the sound of the impact are graphic and disturbing. Be prepared for that before viewing this.

gee, i'm shocked...
