congrats... first child is exciting... your whole world is completely changed now.. I didn't believe it till 3 months ago myself and anything I've done is pretty much for my twin boys now. My wife has also not done a single thing for herself... everytime she shops it's for them. Food... she doesn't care what it tastes like as long as it keeps her energized so she can keep up.

And I think it's a good idea to not know the gender for our 3rd... hoping it'll be a girl of course, but the thought of not knowing till birth would be great (instead of possibly being disappointed only at 20 weeks and through).

Yesterday was by far the longest day of my life. Felt like 3 days! I had it easy compared to my wife. She hadn't slept in almost 2 days by last night, the baby was crying because it was hungry and my wife just lost it. She was crying and all out of sorts because of no sleep. I felt so bad for her.

So i told her to go to sleep, I took the baby and walked around for a bit to calm her down. She was still hungry so I took her to the nursery and they gave her some formula and let her sleep there for about 4 hours,s o we were both able to eventually get some quality sleep.

Leaving the hospital today though (a full day early!!!) because mom and baby are doing so well! We are just ready to get out of here and into the comfort of our own home!
