Just so you know, American Express will no longer honor price matching with it's Best Value Guarantee for the following companies:

Digital Liquidators
Broadway Photo
CCI (Camera City Inc.)
Digital Liquidator
J&K Cameras
Royal Cameras

 
AMEX BVG denied my claim with Broadway Camera. I tried to PM Printed Ad in Photographic magazine for Canon EOS 6.3 Digital Rebel camera bought at Dell.

The BVG associate read few NY based camera companies (such as A & M), and mentioned that they carry gray market cameras without US warranty. Hence, they cannot be equivalent to the one's we buy at Dell.

Bummer....
 
I'm not surprised. I wonder what percentage of their BVG's processed were on these places...closing up all the loopholes 🙁
 
Has anyone had a successful AMEX BVG for the Canon Digital Rebel since 1/20/05 ?? If so -- where, and give us a scan of the print ad you used please! thanks
 
Any of you folks in states with Big Lots that have photo viewers for 9.99, get me one or two and I'll share with you how I got around BVG decline. PM me...🙂
