There was a big article/report about this a long time ago. I guess it's just resurfacing again. I gues you can always have onea ccount that you never purchase anything with and just check prices that way.

Weird, same thing happen to me. It was more like 1 in 20 though. 20 times it shows the $100 price and 1 time it shows the 75 price.

Notice how when a deal goes wrong or a rebate is invalid those that lurk start to post. Granted sanvara may have not known that Amazon has done this before, it is not a hot deal though.

Great, nice attitude. Do you even know what the going price is for orinoco gold cards? Instead of wasting time looking at my posting history why didn't you research that?

I brought this point up because it is obvious many people are not aware that amazon is playing with prices and that by doing things like deleting cookies and shopping with a virgin account that has never made a purchase you may be able to get a lower price. A hot deal here? Actually it's a warm deal. $70.99 shipped (after $5/$35 coupon) is a good price for the orinoco gold card. Orinoco pc cards are widely considered to be the best for wireless home networking. So there actually was a deal here too. Buy.com sells the same card for $99. Lowest price at pricewatch with shipping is $73.

If you want an a debate, you got one.

Originally, YOU posted about Amazon charging people different prices. You gave an example. Hence there was absolutely NO hot deal. Now you're just trying to counter something which was obvious to begin with by changing your title and what not.

Instead of wasting time looking at my posting history why didn't you research that?

Well, maybe because I have no need for it since I already have several wireless PC cards and several USB Wireless Network Adapters (2.4Ghz for $45 each). When you orginally posted this thread, your post count was at one, so there was no research involved, genius.

Oh, btw have a nice day.
