Doesn't matter if you have had "good luck" with them in the past. Recent events over the past six months tell a different story.

So many people are being scammed and ripped off this is serious. Whether it is just extremely bad service or true fraud it doesn't really matter, it has become criminal at this point (IMO). They are asking for money orders to be sent, this is NOT safe! There is evidence to prove what i'm saying, this is not libel! Go read the reviews on pricewatch or just type in ADOSYSTEMS complaints in a search engine. I almost fell for it and it could have turned into a nightmare (a very expensive one) I'm not saying you have to believe me but if you do choose to order from them think it over and do the research first. Things just don't add up...


They no longer accept credit cards. And simply don't take their word without thinking, DO NOT believe the "our credit processor is getting switched" story. They probably lost all their credit card privelages from the big four CC companies because of so many complaints. THINK ABOUT IT! They try to smooth this over with the promise of an 8% discount and free OVERNIGHT shipping. This would make it so they make NO money at all. The markup is less that 10% most likely. 8% off plus 30 dollars in shipping on every order? HAHAHAH, they would lose money so fast. The mailbox on their phone is ALWAYS full, they never answer any phone or their e-mails. Do NOT send them money orders! Read the other reviews! Any good reviews are few and far between and you only have to wonder if they are real. I suggest if you have been ripped off or had problems to file a complaint with the NY BBB and the USPS fraud dept. THEY WILL INVESTIGATE! This cannot continue, people like this can't be allowed to continue what they are doing.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS VENDOR. It is NOT SAFE! You will either lose your money and have nothing or 2 months later something might show up.


I was lucky enough to come to my senses in time to see what could have been a potential nightmare, I could have been out a serious amount of money.
SMOKE AND MIRRORS If you ask me FOLKS! Don't fall victim. If it is too good to be true, it is.

I am honestly not trying to commit libel against them, I am just so relieved I was able to stop what I started. I just wanted to let everyone know and then they can make their own decision.

It was just so tempting because they had an ASUS 6800 Ultra for 532 and a FX-55 for 825.00 (the cheapest prices on pricewatch, go figure) Then an 8% discount and FREE overnight shipping on top of that. That is a savings of almost 250 dollars. Very tempting

Like I said it just doesn't add up. T
 
LOL, I read those resellerratings pages. Their rating was 2.4 and then they send an email promising past customers a discount for good reviews and get 30 positive reviews in two weeks.

It looks like the credit companies dropped them in Sep, so I don't see how they can survive much longer.
 
I guess this just goes to show how many people assess the legitimacy of a company by how good their website looks. 🙁

THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE OR E-MAILS
 
I can't find the e-mail about how to get an 8% discount on EVERYTHING.

So far i've seen:

-unbelievably low prices on everything (so far below others I bet it is at or below cost, no profit there)
-Lowest reseller rating ever
-horrible pricewatch reviews
-NY BBB complaints
-accusations of criminal activity in reviews
-never answers phone
-voicemailbox jam packed full (probably full of msgs from pissed off people)
-offers of free Overnight and 8% discount (Just not possible with as low as prices are already)
-credit card machine is "out of order" (actually it was probably taken away by the big four CC companies)
-constant automated e-mail spam promising things and running damage control
-stories of "phone problems"


decide for yourself. I know a lot of guys here use pricewatch and ADOSYSTEMS comes up first. Just be careful.
