That looks like absolute overkill. Why anyone would want 18 buttons on a mouse is beyond me.

I saw this a while ago. I would be interested in this if it was actually ergonomic. That design looks very uncomfortable to use, especially with the main buttons being so tiny.

I use 36 hotkeys in WoW, but I still wouldn't want that thing. Biggest thing I look for in a mouse is that my fingers lay naturally on the buttons. That thing doesn't look comfortable even if it didn't have 18 buttons and with that many there's no way it could be really comfortable to use.

I have to say that if they redesigned it and had all the extra buttons on the side it would be more practical...as is its just ridiculous and has no real purpose except the few that use it for applications and not gaming...even then it would find a small audience.

not to mention 16 buttons just where you have your normal left and right buttons. that would be impossible to play some games, like FPS.

it also looks like shit.

Wasn't there a mouse back in the early 90's that had even more buttons on it? I think it was used for spreadsheet number entry (which would make sense)

This thing started its life as the OpenOffice Mouse. Part of the reason I'm curious about its usefulness as a gaming peripheral. As others have already mentioned, it seems less than practical. Although, it looks a hell of a lot better in black than the original OpenOffice colors.

Bleh by the time you get used to that thing they will have stopped making them because nobody bought them and you will have to get used to a regular mouse again :p

Actually that mouse rocks, I own it. Once you get used to using your thumb on for the side buttons it leaves your left hand totally free to move around. Even in FPS's it works really well, especially for more arcadey DM games like UT. Of course it was designed for pvp in MMO's, and it works really well for that. You shouldn't knock something you've never even touched, it's just stupid. I can't speak for the warmouse, but I imagine it works really well in WoW, which is of course the point of it.

yeah I'd like to have that mouse for WoW. Looks like it would be handy. Just can't justify the price yet.

INSANE. Someone just needs to design an interface that plugs into your brain [true VR] - and you just sit back and play the game in your mind.
