Warmish: good prices on NiMH AA's

1600mA AA's - $1.75 each

Part way down the page. - $1.35 each.

I've ordered from them before; my biggest complaint with them is that it takes them a LONG time to process catalog requests - a few months sometimes. But they get orders out promptly and have good shipping rates. Their catalog is pretty big too.

They charge pretty much in line with the carrier they use; they don't try to rip you off on shipping. I don't buy from or recommend places that do that.

I've used these batteries already; I think I've got about 20 of them in the house now. We always run out of AA's, so I bought a bunch. 😀
What you need to know about them?

Wow; might as well post that as a good deal then. Though come to think of it, I've never actually seen a Target store. 😱

<< I got a better deal at Target. Got me a Rayovac 1600mA AA 2pk for $3.50 today. Bought 6 packs. >>

That's a hot deal!

The target near me only had the 4 pack AA rayovac at $11.99.
No sign of the 2 pack. Anyone know if it is nationwide ?

I found a better deal.

My local B&M Staples in their clearance section was clearing out NiMh batteries for a Kodak digital camera.

Although it was a battery 'pack', the pack consisted of 2 qty 1600mAh AA's taped together. No strap, no
wiring, no shrink tubing, just two AA's taped together. They were even REAL AA's with the bump on the positive end
(unlike batteries used to build battery packs where the positive end doesn't stick out).

$2.00 for the pack of 2, or $1.00 each. Kodak brand 1600mAh batt's.

what's the difference with the zinc chloride batteries??

i just need a lot of cheap batteries for my cheap digicam for spring break, would the zinc chloride's be better?
