Not sure if this is any good, but I thought I might as well post it

I don't know anything about LCDs so this is up to you guys to decide.

The TFT is LG electronics (goldstar) and the Geforce3 LOOKS to me to be Leadtek, but I'm not sure, so don't hold me to it.

This company seems fairly reputable...but I think you need a dealer's license to buy ... (which I have)
LMK

ALMOST FORGOT!

100 USB 2.0 cables for FREE with any purchase of $250 or more.

Those things are worth at least $.50 each themselves!

Its a refurb, "Manufactured by LG Electronics (Goldstar) for Gateway."

"The Gateway FPD1800 monitor uses the Digital Visual Interface standard (DVI)"

sounds like a decent deal... i think it sounds hot

I don't think gateway makes any of their own parts, I guess since LG (supposedly) made it only for them there's no reason to list the manufacturer.

is any manufacturer listed?

It's a decent deal, but I wouldn't call it hot. If you're looking for a new 18" LCD and need a new video card, but don't need the fastest thing available, go for it. But I myself would look elsewhere. The GF3 Ti500 is getting a little old to still be buying unless you need a decently fast value card (that's what it has turned into). It's loads faster than my GF2mx, but I'd rather spring for the GF4 Ti4200.

OK, this hasn't seemed to throw anyone else for a loop, but 100 free usb 2.0 cables?
Holy crap! Imagine the marketing guys saying, "what we need is a gimmick...something outlandish.... 100 free usb 2.0 cables!"
That's the most bizarre thing I've ever heard in the hot deals forum...well, close to 100 video cards for $75, or whatever it was.
