Warm: XP 2600+ 266mhz fsb $135

bunker

$135 at http://www.monarchcomputer.com

I went through the online purchase and fedex saver shipping was free, all though I didn't buy it that way.

I just picked one up today as they are local. I've bought several items from them in the past and never had a problem

4th cheapest price listed on Pricewatch and I never trust the cheapest 😛.

This is the fastest 266mhz fsb T-bred.

People have older mobo's & RAM that don't go that high. I hate this was posted, I want one of these but am not ready to buy. They'll probably be completely unavailable when I am ready.

Tell us how to run a 2500+ Barton with PC2100 RAM colose to 2500+ and we'd be happy
to buy one. A lot of people are stuck with PC2100.

Not that they won't be available, just probably not at this price. They're having an AMD sale right now.

I would go for the 333mhz fsb 2600+ and just raise the multiplier via motherboard or cutting and closing bridges. Not worth the 40 dollar difference. Or you would probably get better performance from buying the 2400+ at 83 dollars and add a good 512MB PC2700 stick of ram. Kingston is good.

Definitely the best deal for people who are stuck at 133FSB (and don't want to mod anything)

I think there was a pretty limited run on these and they're not being made anymore.
