Picked up this card at CompUSA the other day. Seems like the best price available. Find it here.

Only caveat is that you have to go through WorldRebates.com for the rebate and it comes as either a check card/written check.
 
Is this still considered a good deal being that the gts250 is about the same price but a newer architecture<<<however you spell that,lol
I it was $100 I'd jump on it and wouldnt care
 
The XFX GTS 250 512MB for $120 shipped from Tiger Direct after $16 Live.com Cash Back (12%) is a better deal IMO.

Also, no rebates to hassle with and you get the CB wired directly to your paypal account from Microsoft.
 
Yeah the GTS 250 is definitely a better deal. But if you have a CompUSA nearby and prefer B&M, this isn't too bad a deal.
 
damn, I didnt know they were @ 12% I thought they were still at 10%. I am interested in either a 250 or 260; will have to weigh out price to F@H performance

Doesnt tiger direct own compusa? so actually the 9800gtx+ after rebate and after 12% brings this card to $102.6 plus $1.99 shipping I think. so not bad. Might still be worth the extra $15 for the gts250; since it consumes less power and possibly produces less heat.
 
You sure that Newegg will honor the rebate because of the combo deal on that?

The Newegg MIR form says "Note: Offer cannot be combined with other promotions or special offers"

Also, I prefer the PCI slot cooler that's built into the XFX GTS 250 although I guess you could use one of these with the MSI ~~> http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16835888309

After shipping it kind of kills the whole slot cooler idea though...

 
What I like about this deal. B&M + Xfx = best possible warranty [double lifetime]. With Evga or MSI you cant transfer the warranty to another person = If it breaks, you pay to ship it to seller and you pay for seller to ship it to rma then you pay shipper to return the card to you. Lifetime warranty for other brands mean jack to me if you cant transfer it.
